“Campfire Stories” is a cozy and playful quilt inspired by summer evenings in the great outdoors. Designed in my little quilting room during a rainy week when I longed for the smell of pine trees and burnt marshmallows, this piece came to life with warm oranges, earthy greens, and cheerful yellows.

The quilt depicts a vibrant camping scene—a pitched tent under stylized fir trees, a glowing campfire, and the golden sun peeking through the clouds. It was a joy to piece together, although quilting the fire’s flickering flame pattern was a surprising challenge! I spent hours adjusting the curves to create the illusion of movement.
